I work for Raytheon...and Raytheon has facilities in Alabama, I saw a vacant position that I can fill in yesterday, sure, I put my name in...hehehe.

Can you imagine, a mansion house in Huntsville Al (where one of the Raytheon in Alabama is)...costs $350,000 whereas here in Cali its millions. If I get that kind of mortgage, my pension is enough to pay for it...here, my pension is not even enough for rent.

My problem is my dad, he is with me...and my mom of course, she is still bedridden, same problem still. Then my kids...they all want to stay in Calif. Well, my kids are the least of my problem...it is actually my parents that's giving me the worries right now.

Humbly, I am getting a promotion on 1 Oct 06...less than a year of my hiring, hehehe...I may get a $3 dollar pay increase;)

I knew what you feel now but at least you have your parents with you unlike me na i only see them every 6 months and now galit pa sila sa akin because i left my family.

Mortgage sa Arizona, TX, or Alabama eh kasya na ang military pension ko...eh dito kulang pa sa upa ng haybol, pesteng lugar ito kung bakit sobrang mahal ng tirahan

I will try hard sa Arizona, malaki ang aming facilities duon...then TX din, maliit nga lang sa Alabama pero bakasakawali din.

Where is your Company located here in TX. You can get a nice house with acreage for less than $100k. I know thats hard to belive after living in Cali. But it's true. Then Louisiana is our neighboring state. LEGAL SABONG.

Paul, there are a few there...El Paso, Mabeleine (sp), also Dallas, I believe...and a few more. Any of the states I mentioned, whichever takes me, I am theirs...hehehe. Yes, hopefully near a legal state;)

The prices are going down country wide...the house I am renting has gone down 20k in less than a month, but, still not my choice with its price and condition. Plus, I can't afford it or else no more sabong, hahaha.

One down, got an interview with Raytheon Garland TX on Monday...they'll fly me in with rental car and of course food allowance, hehehe.
