All along, I have a unique situation in as far as workers are concerned...my main ones are my cousins. We all sink and swim together in any cocking endeavors we do...and we do our best in as far as our parts are concerned. In addition, whenever we go in a derby, to include all of my balikbayan or sabong vacation, we are intact...and for so many years now, we are still it! What I mean is we have never quit on each other; I have same people with me every year that we participate in January events...cyber based sabong derbies. My friend, we call Jap, works as an assistant since the start and recently we've added a relative of my cousin, a young electronics guy named Roland. These guys, which I drink, eat, have good time, and sleep with (not same papag or bed, hehehe) whenever I am at the manukan, well, the manukan is where I spent most, if not all, of my sabong vacations.

There will be no cock more important than my people...for me to have these kinds, very loyal ones, makes me at peace and comfortable in my cocking life.

Just blowinn' steam, hehehe...

Kidd

Mine is a bit different pare. I started having issues because of the breeding work. I feel like I'm shouldering every expenses in our cocking habits. This happened before when I put a farm from 1995 to early 1999 when I quit. We used to fight in Laoag, Binmaley, Tarlac, Saitan, Baguio using the Entry Name AT Katrina (My Initials and Name of my my niece).

When 1999 came I said to myself Damn! No more Sabong!

This was ME then 1995.

This was the Team

The big Nipa Hut is the Mini Ruweda

Again I started to put up a farm and looking for a bigger space for my chcikens but since I'm having problem again with the way things are turning. I'm planning to just stop the breeding and keep my birds at 30 Heads and 50 Heads will be the most. No Breeding, I'll just purchase the cocks from good breeders and fight them only in Derbies. But I haven't finalise this decision yet and is still looking for some inputs.

What do you guys think?

No idea will be a bad Idea. My problem is that we find it hard to meet halfway regarding breeding and conditioning while I shoulder all the expenses.

wait for your ideas.

cheers!

Loyalty of our farmworkers is the first one that we need that's why we really need to treat them well just like members of the family.

Even my drivers, they will cancel their previous commitment if they know I need their service. Correct, you be loyal, and they will be too!

Crying or Very sad I used to love and enjoy sabong since i was 7 y.o. but since this shit happens to me i have to let go breeding for awhile and just concentrate to my playpen (Candaba Square Garden) for now. I will probably go back to breeding when i retire in Pinas and for our UFAC derby i will just buy from our members. I have lost my trust to my relatives, friends and handlers that everytime i recall all theirs good deeds Evil or Very Mad i want to go back home and goooooooooooo postallllll Twisted Evil

Pareng Kidd,
You are lucky and you have honest relatives. Wink

Pareng Tops,
That's what i'm gonna do too buy 10-15 roosters and just fight them during my 2 weeks vacation and if they win they will stay in CSG.

Normal plan for your situation pareng Edwin...hehehe, yes, my relatives are concentrated in our manukan and they put a lot more than me...I am just there so I have some to fight whenever needed and when I am done with paying bills here in US of A, hehehe.

Loyalty from the workers is something really important in this business. Without them, everything would be so hard if not downright impossible. Let us keep "sabong" alive...

theadviserme,
I really don't know what went wrong but i knew i gave them everything they want during their stay with me pero siguro nagsawa na rin sila or naiinip sa buhay nila sa bundok.
What do you do when you are a farm worker?
1) Just feed the birds twice a day.
2) Watered them three times a day
3 to 1,000 Just relax, eat , gamble, sleep, eat, rest, sleep and wait for your paycheck. MAHIRAP BA ITO? We do work hard here in abroad but they probably do not know that and akala nila money grows on the tree sa abroad Laughing
